About
I want you to get excited about who you are, what you are, what you have, and what can still be for you. I want to inspire you to see that you can go far beyond where you are right now.
~Virginia Satir
You’re here for a reason.
Therapy is a place to understand yourself more deeply—and make meaningful changes in your life.
As messy as it sounds, sometimes the only way out is through.
You may already have a lot of insight into yourself. You know something isn’t working. You may even understand why. But knowing why you feel or behave a certain way doesn’t always make it easier to change.
That’s where therapy can help.
Together, we can look beyond what’s happening on the surface, understand the patterns and experiences that have shaped you, and help you make choices that feel more intentional and true to who you are.

Change starts when you begin doing things differently.
Question old beliefs. Break old habits. Change the patterns that keep you stuck.
Have difficult conversations. Let go of where you thought you “should” be by now.
Face your fears. Get comfortable with vulnerability.
Invest in your relationships. Learn what healthy love looks and feels like.
Quiet the overthinking. Trust yourself more. Make room for change.
Each session is an invitation to get curious about yourself.
Because meaningful change often begins with understanding—not judging—yourself.
Curiosity can change the way you understand your emotions, your choices, and your relationships.
The more curious you become about why you feel, react, and relate the way you do, the less controlled you are by those patterns—and the more freedom you have to respond differently.

Understanding yourself gives you the freedom to choose differently.
Therapy isn’t about becoming a different person. It’s about understanding yourself well enough to recognize what’s working, what isn’t, and what you want to change.
You don’t have to keep living by patterns, expectations, or relationships that no longer feel right for you.
When we work together, we’ll look honestly at what’s happening in your life—how you relate to yourself, what you seek from others, and what may be getting in the way of the relationships and life you want.
Some of what you discover may be uncomfortable. Some of it may surprise you. But the more you understand yourself, the more choice you have in what comes next.
You don’t have to become the “best version” of yourself. You get to become more fully yourself.
The relationship you have with yourself shows up in every relationship you have.
How you see yourself can shape what you tolerate, what you ask for, who you choose, and how you respond when relationships get difficult.
You may look to other people for reassurance, validation, or a sense of security that can be difficult to give yourself.
Therapy can help you understand those dynamics—not so you can become completely self-sufficient, but so your relationships are guided less by fear and more by awareness, honesty, and choice.
The better you understand yourself, the more clearly you can understand what you need from the people you love.
YOU are your BIGGEST investment.
Emotions are energy in motion, (e-motion). When you allow yourself to experience and feel all the painful emotions that show up, you’re able to process and move through them quicker. Otherwise they’ll get stuck, and so will you. Patterns might emerge as you explore what hurts and why.
Together, we’ll discover what it is you’re willing to struggle for – and learn how to leave the rest behind.
As a marriage and family therapist, I’ll view you within your embedded systems (families, friendships, romantic relationships and the larger society) in which you live and love, and how that influences your experiences, feelings, and behaviors.
Your voice is important, and your experience is valid. YOU are your own expert.
As an interactive therapist, I’ll employ various schools of thought to help you, including Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Psychodynamic, Emotionally Focused (EFT) and Mindfulness-Based therapies.
I hope you’ll find our work together effective, meaningful, and life affirming. Together, we’ll work both in the here and now as well as draw from a more historical perspective.
My passion is to empower you to realize just how much you know about your experience and how you can impact change going forward.
I’ll listen closely, offer a fresh perspective, create a safe space for growth where you can feel understood and accepted.
What motivates me?
The pure joy of seeing you actualize YOUR potential – your transformation. YOU inspire me.
I feel lucky to be a part of your path to fulfillment.
